The Ashes Test Series

Started by: Owd Codger (3126)

When you look at the composition of the crowds supporting England and Australia, it brings back memories of watching Ashes test match cricket in the late forties and fifties with the only difference now being the more colourful attire of the more mixed crowd of different ages and the better television colour picture quality and inclusion of statistics.

Forget the cut and thrust of the short ball versus the conventional orthodox bowling in a compelling second test of the Ashes series let's have a look at what the crowd are wearing
How many footballers did you coach to the "highest professional standard"?
And even more importantly what garb did the folk on the sidelines have on?

Chatty

Never said anything about "highest professional standard", only that I had run junior football teams which have included lads who have gone on to play at a professional level.

What have you ever done in football apart from watching United, be it at Old Trafford or on television which seems to be the norm with some on Wigan World.

No wonder less are posting!

I repeatedly posted the same question to the dodger .
Name one player ,just one will suffice ,who you coached ,who progressed to play at a professional level.

Todger

Anything I have done in football or elsewhere I wouldn't be bragging on here about it
And if I ever felt the urge to I would have some hard facts to back it up
